News 1: Aloha for perfectly synchronised performance

Aloha is an audio OS that works on the audio latency between playing instruments and singers. Very important for artistic live performances and remote rehearsals. Being tested this weekend for a Rossini opera in San Francisco. Aloha is a Swedish tech called Elk Audio. (Yes, from Sweden). Opinion for B2B: I discovered it on Fast Company- no one really notices the audio latency in Teams or Meet, but for musicians and singing performances it’s essential. It is an OS and can be integrated into classical audio or remote systems.

We love micro innovations!

News 2: The Google ‘innovation’ to replace cookies FLoC

FLoC stands for Federated learning of cohorts. What? User browsing habit path on the web is aggregated and compared to similar paths, similar groups (federated), then ads are delivered in accordance to this path. Opinion for B2B: Google presented a key innovation that has been very ignored by the media, I observed. Rebel browsers like Brave or Vivaldi will block this. Microsoft didn’t ‘respond’ yet. Cohort groups are numbered, maybe we are now in 1145?! It is an innovation to countercurrent the third-party cookie debate — a compromise.

A ‘federated’ big cookie!!

News 3: Joby, after Volocopter and Lilium

Joby is the ‘other one’ in the new electric flying sphere. 1.000s of test flights and 10 years of research… claims Joby. Electric aircraft needs lots of innovation and engineering time. The result is a usual taxi use case: a pilot and 4 passengers. Opinion for B2B: Quiet — this is the point Joby makes as a main motivation. I really love this aspect in a world of permanent ambient noise. Quietness is a huge benefit of electric mobility. Cars, scooters, boats, planes…

Remember, scooters must be electric in Shanghai — in no single city in Europe (loud in Rome and Paris).
