News 3: $300m funding for global HR office, Remote
With Remote companies, especially tech companies, can find, hire and manage employees worldwide. Remote acts as the local HR office for companies, taking care of local compliance, benefits, payroll and local taxes in 64 countries around the world. Opinion: Remote raised $300m Series C funding round led by large investor Softbank Vision Fund in April 2022.
Companies, especially in technology industry, are more and more employing globally to attract good talent, and above all manage them centrally. We all know that large scaling start-up are laying off employees. Remote is also there for off-boarding.
