OpenSea is the leading NFT marketplace (1.8m users). Artists/creators offer NFTs for sale or auction and OpenSea takes 2.5% of sale price.
The leading marketplace and investors believe in it and support OpenSea with $427m VC funding (latest round was $300m in 2022). Opinion: For a long time Opensea was the no.1 NFT marketplace, but now has to fight for its position. Competition with Binance, Coinbase and Uniswap also acting as NFT marketplaces. Is the NFT hype long-lasting. No.

Many NFT marketplaces now waiting for the next hype wave. So does OpenSea.

News 2: OneFootball — one app for everything around football with $300m funding round

OneFootball is an app all around football, with all statistics, transfer period news and live streaming. “Shorts” video format with game highlights, recaps and short clips of historic games and players. Opinion: Over 100 million people use OneFootball and they love it, 5stars app store rating with +100k reviews!
Besides VC investors, some big football clubs like Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid invested into OneFootball. Latest funding round, series C, of $300m was on April 26 2022.

News 3: $300m funding for global HR office, Remote

With Remote companies, especially tech companies, can find, hire and manage employees worldwide. Remote acts as the local HR office for companies, taking care of local compliance, benefits, payroll and local taxes in 64 countries around the world. Opinion: Remote raised $300m Series C funding round led by large investor Softbank Vision Fund in April 2022.
Companies, especially in technology industry, are more and more employing globally to attract good talent, and above all manage them centrally. We all know that large scaling start-up are laying off employees. Remote is also there for off-boarding.

But will Remote grow when economy gets tougher?
